Little Rock lots we stripe
The hospital and university lots are some of the busiest in town. UAMS, Arkansas Children's and the Baptist Health campus all handle heavy daily traffic, visitors who do not know the lot, and a lot of accessible parking. UA Little Rock has student and staff lots that turn over all day. On these sites, clear stall lines, arrows and crosswalks help keep people moving and keep drivers from making up their own lanes.
Out east, the Little Rock Port industrial area has warehouses and plants with truck courts and employee lots, and those buildings often need floor striping inside too. Then there are the strip centers and big box stores along I-430 and I-630, churches all over the city, and apartment complexes in west Little Rock. Whether it is a small church lot or a big retail lot, we can restripe the existing layout or design a new one.

Heat, storms and restriping in central Arkansas
Little Rock gets real summer heat and plenty of rain, with strong storms in spring. Sun fades paint and heat softens asphalt, while rain and runoff carry grit that wears lines down. The worst wear shows up where cars turn and stop: entrances, drive lanes and the front rows by the doors. Most lot owners notice the stalls are hard to see only when customers start parking crooked.
We plan striping around dry weather so paint goes down on clean, dry pavement and has time to set. If you are sealcoating, we stripe once the sealer is ready. If there are potholes or broken spots along the lines, we can do minor asphalt and concrete repair first. That way the new lines are not painted over damage that will fail in a few months.
Arkansas fire code and ADA parking
Arkansas has a statewide fire code. The Arkansas Fire Prevention Code, based on the 2021 International Fire Code and administered by the Arkansas State Fire Marshal, took effect January 1, 2023, and the Little Rock Board of Directors took up the 2021 code for the city in 2023. Under the IFC, fire apparatus access roads generally need at least 20 feet of clear width, and the fire code official can require NO PARKING FIRE LANE signs or markings. Check with the Little Rock Fire Department on your site.
ADA parking follows the 2010 ADA Standards. Accessible stalls need a marked access aisle at least 60 inches wide, and at least one in six accessible stalls must be van accessible with a wider stall or aisle. Stalls and aisles cannot slope more than 1:48, which matters on older lots that have settled. We lay out the stalls, paint the symbol and stripe the aisle so it reads clearly.
