Cleveland lots
Campus lots at Delta State get used hard during the school year and on game days. Student, faculty and visitor areas need to stay clearly marked, and accessible stalls need to sit near building entrances. The hospital lot needs accessible spaces close to each door and routes patients can follow. The ADA Standards set higher accessible counts for hospital outpatient lots.
Most of the rest are everyday lots: churches that fill once a week, schools with bus lanes and drop-off zones, apartments with numbered stalls, and banks, pharmacies and stores along the highway. Farm supply and ag businesses around Bolivar County may have shops and warehouses that need floor lines and yellow safety lines. We stripe all of that.

Delta heat, rain and sealcoat
The Delta is flat and hot, and it gets heavy rain. Sun fades paint until lines go chalky and hard to see. On a flat lot, water sits in low spots and breaks down the asphalt, and the paint goes with it. The heavy clay under a lot here shrinks and swells with the weather, which can crack pavement.
Most owners restripe every few years and always after a sealcoat, since sealer covers every line. We paint once the sealer has cured. If there are broken spots where stalls go, we can do minor concrete and asphalt repair first. Being close by means we can look at the lot in person before we give you a number.
ADA and fire lanes
The Department of Justice says a business that restripes must provide accessible spaces as required by the 2010 ADA Standards. A lot with up to 25 spaces needs 1 accessible space, and it must be van accessible. Car spaces need a 60-inch access aisle. Van spaces need a 132-inch space with a 60-inch aisle, or a 96-inch space with a 96-inch aisle.
Mississippi's State Fire Marshal adopted the 2024 International Fire Code as of July 1, 2024, and cities can enforce their own fire code if it is at least as strict. We could not confirm Cleveland's local fire lane and parking rules, so check with the city's fire department before adding or moving a fire lane. We stripe to what they want.
