Greenville lots
Casino lots are open late and see steady traffic, with guests, shuttles and buses all sharing the pavement. They need clear drive lanes, arrows, crosswalks and accessible stalls close to the doors. The hospital needs the same kind of care, with accessible spaces near each entrance and routes patients can follow. The ADA Standards set higher accessible counts for hospital outpatient lots.
Port and industrial sites need truck courts, trailer stalls, and inside the buildings, lane and bay lines on the concrete floor and yellow safety lines along docks and walkways. Churches need layouts that fill and empty quickly. Schools need bus lanes and drop-off zones. Strip centers and stores need entrances and drive lanes that stay readable.

Delta weather and Delta pavement
The Delta is flat, hot and wet. Summer sun fades paint fast, and heavy rain has nowhere to go on a flat lot, so water sits in low spots. Standing water breaks down asphalt, and the paint goes with it. The heavy clay soils here also shrink and swell with wet and dry spells, which can crack pavement over time.
Most owners restripe every few years and always after a sealcoat, since sealer covers every line. We paint once the sealer has cured. If there are potholes or broken spots where stalls or lanes go, we can do minor concrete and asphalt repair first so the paint is on solid ground.
ADA and fire lanes
When a business restripes, the Department of Justice says it must provide accessible spaces as required by the 2010 ADA Standards. The count depends on the lot size, and at least one in six must be van accessible. Each space needs a marked access aisle, and slopes at the spaces and aisles cannot be steeper than 1:48. Spaces go on the shortest accessible route to an entrance.
Mississippi's State Fire Marshal adopted the 2024 International Fire Code as of July 1, 2024, and a city can enforce its own fire code if it is at least as strict. We could not confirm Greenville's local fire lane and parking rules, so check with the city's fire department and planning office before adding or moving a fire lane.
